ADR Driver Training

Drivers who convey dangerous goods are required by law to hold a valid vocational training certificate.

Course Content

Initial Training

• Core module for all drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods
• Packaged Goods module and/or Road Tanker module
• Class-specific module

Refresher Training

• Vocational Training Certificates are valid for five years. Before the expiry date of the certificate, refresher training must be undertaken by drivers and examinations must be retaken.

Course Duration

2 to 5 day courses depending on the modules taken.

Courses Nationwide and International.

Certification

SQA examination at the end of the course to receive a vocational training certificate valid for 5 years. (SQA exam fees not included).
