Working at Heights / Ladder Training

The Work at Heights Regulation 2004 requires safe systems of work, suitable work equipment, elimination of risks, prevention of falls and protection of employees. Everyone is affected by this legislation whether employees, employers or self-employed persons.

Tanker drivers who use ladders to make deliveries.

Course Content

  • Erect and secure the ladder
  • Carry out a local risk assessment
  • Safely unload and load the ladder from the vehicle
  • Check the ladder to be used
  • Climb and descend the ladder safely
  • Raise and lower hoses safely

Course Duration

Three and a half hours.

Courses Nationwide and International.

Certification

Delegates who achieve the 80% pass mark at the end of course examination will receive the PTF course training certificate.
