The Working at Heights Regulations 2004 require safe systems of work, suitable work equipment, reduction of risks, prevention of falls and protection of employees. Everyone is affected by this legislation whether employees, employers or self-employed persons.

Course Content

• Safe use of ladders methodology

• Risk assesment

• Ladder handling and stowage

• Ladder inspection

• Use of equipment whilst on ladder

• Ascent and descent techniques

Course Duration

Three and a half hours.
